ITA ON TOUR lands in Sydney the capital of New South Wales and one of Australia’s largest cities, is best known for the Sydney Opera House, a structure with a characteristic sail shape that stands near the harbour. The huge Darling Harbor and the smaller Circular Quay, which are located near the Harbor Bridge and the prestigious Royal Botanic Gardens, are very lively ports, while the Skywalk, the Sydney Tower’s terrace, offers a 360-degree view of the city and on the periphery

Julia Regi – Artistic Director “Julia Classical Ballet Coaching”
Previously a highly successful dancer, Julia moved to Australia from New York City ,where she was working as a freelance principal dancer ,sharing Joyce theatre stage with artist from NYC and ABT .
Before that, Julia was dancing corps de ballet , soloist roles / principal roles with the Finnish National Ballet in Helsinki and ENB in London , Les Montecarlo and Nancy Ballet.
Born and raised in Sweden, Julia started her training with Royal Swedish Ballet School in Russian method as well as French and English technique.
As a teenager she did acting in Astrid Lindgren’s theatre performances such as Brothers lion-heart. She also performed in Musicals such as Kiss me Kate ,My fair Lady and Sweet Charity at Malmö City Theatre while dancing with the Malmö Baletten led by x NYc principal dancer Jonas Kåge and Deborah Dobson.
At the age of 15, she was offered a scholarship with Hamburg Ballet School where she studied and had the opportunity to work with John Neumeir.
She then returned to Sweden to complete her training with the Royal Swedish Ballet pre professional level had the opportunity to learn August Bournonville technique and floor barre technique with teachers from USA ,NYC ballet and ABT.
During her career she worked with some of the most prominent and renowned choreographers in the world including Sylvie Guillem, Natalia Makarova, Patrice Bart, John Neumeier, William Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Jorma Uotinen, Pierre Lacotte ,Per Jonsson Naharin and many others.
Julia was also very privileged to be working privately with mr David Howard and Mr Willy Burman as well as Mr Bart from Paris Opéra .
They helped her allot when was performing principal roles at Finish National Ballet .
Mr Bart specifically coached her for blue bird in Sleeping beauty .
Julia first experience with a professional overseas company was with Hamburg Ballet John Neumeier ,Jene Ballet de France in Paris then Ballet de Lorraine in Nancy France and the Royal Swedish Ballet Company before accepting a place with Finnish National Ballet Company. She was soon promoted to Soloist roles (despite being only 20 years of age). While with the Finnish National Ballet, she performed soloist roles in Nureyev’s The Nutcracker/ DonQ / Sleeping Beauty Cranko’s Romeo , and Juliet, Makarova’s La Bayadere, Beigmeister’s Swan Lake, Jorma Uotinen Firebird ,Sylvie Guillem’s Giselle and William Forsythe’s Second Detail etc
She then joined the English National Ballet Company performing in ballets including the Nutcracker and Cinderella and had opportunities to perform as Junior Soloist .
Upon leaving the English National Ballet, Julia decide to extend herself to other styles of dance. Further developing herself as an artist, she worked at the famous French Cabaret Lido de Paris , before returning to classical ballet and freelance as classical ballet guest Artist in New York , she has also been invited as guest principal artist to Hungary ,Sweden ,Japan, USA ,Brazil and among other places .
In 2010 she settled in Australia and began her teaching and coaching career and international adjudicator.
2012 international classical ballet academy and adult ballet academy was established in partnership with Damian Hannan where she has had a role as Artistic Director working and teaching young students given many of them the chance to become professional ballet dancers around the world . Worked with Mr Willy Burman lots of times in New York when she visited YAGP .Since September 2022 she is now recognised as freelance ballet teacher and private coach internationally and cross Australia in Classical Ballet (Vaganova) RAD as well as Danish and French technique.
JAKE BURDEN – guest contemporary teacher and choreographer
Jake started dancing at the age of 9. He was a Royal Ballet associate before accepting a place at The Hammond School of Dance. After three years of training in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and musical theatre Jake accepted a place at Elmhurst Ballet School in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet. During his time as a student he performed for the British Royal family at a private event at Windsor castle. Jake then joined Birmingham Royal Ballet on their UK tour, 2009.
Following this Jake was asked to guest perform in the USA for Boca Ballet Theatre in Swan Lake. Jake then went onto accept a soloist contract with Magdeburg Ballet (Germany) and flew through the ranks to principal at the age of 19. Some of his roles include Basilio, Nutcracker Prince and Drummer Boy. In Magdeburg Germany he was awarded the Young Dancer of the Year Award in 2011.
During his time in Germany Jake also appeared in musicals including West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast, Evita and Hello Dolly. Jake joined Leipzig Ballet (Contemporary Company Germany) in 2013; he was a part of their ARTE film CHAPLIN.
Following this Jake joined Singapore Dance Theatre; during his time there he was exposed to many gifted choreographers and performed many Balanchine works. The Company also performed for Cambodian Royalty at the Cambodian Palace. In 2016 Jake was invited back to Germany with his wife Emma to perform in the International Ballet Gala Germany. Jake moved to Australia in 2016 and joined the Australian Dance Adjudicators as a member and became a freelance choreographer. Jake is the Founder and Director of Ballet Brothers, an organization aiming to bring together and support all male dancers. Jake has been teaching for National College of Dance since 2016.
DAVIDE DI GIOVANNI – guest contemporary teacher and choreographer
Davide started his dance life at the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan when he was 15. He then received a full scholarship to study at the renowned ballet school Balletto Di Toscana, joining the junior company at 17.
After three years with the Balletto Di Toscano, Davide joined Balletto dell’Esperia in Turin, where he met Jacopo Godani, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano and William Forsythe. He then moved to Munich at 23, where he had the chance to work for the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz with choreographers Marco Göcke, Alexander Ekman and Jø Strømgren. He danced One Flat Thing, reproduced by William Forsythe, and worked on new creations with Christopher Roman, Nanin Linning, Georg Reischl and Jacopo Godani.
Davide joined Sydney Dance Company in 2017 and first performed with the Company as part of Orb. In 2019, he made his choreographic debut in New Breed with In Walked Bud. He features in Rafael Bonachela’s latest online work Cuatro, a collaboration with Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
