DAVID SIMIC

Is director of the KINDER BALLETT KOMPANIE at the Deutsche Oper Berlin (German Opera House in Berlin). He was professional ballet dancer and choreographer at the Berlin State Ballet (Staatsballett Berlin), since 2004.

Born in Belgrade, Serbia, into ballet dancing family, David is the third generation embracing this kind of art. David has graduated in one of the most prestigious ballet schools in the world-Hamburg Ballettschule John Neumeier.

He was engaged as a professional ballet dancer with Belgrade National Ballet during the seasons 1998-2000;Hamburg Ballet during the seasons 2000-2002;State Theater Schwerin (Staatstheater Schwerin) as a solo dancer during the seasons 2002-2004, and finally in Berlin State Ballet (Staatsballett Berlin) directed by Vladimir Malakhov during the season 2004- 2017, where he has directed a choreography “FEELINGS OF X+1=3” for the evening “Shut up and dance”in year 2010, which was performed with success.

After studing at the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) London, UK, David Simic obtain his PDPTC-diploma in ballet pedagogy in 2014 teaching the Staatsballett Berlin (State Ballet of Berlin) in his final exam. Since then he is guesting ballet pedagogue for RAD in Italy, RAD Germany, RAD Malaysia as well in many others schools in Europe and Asia. Starting 2018 Simic serves as a guest pedagogue for teachers and children at the Chinese Academy of Art. In 2018 Simic was examining the Graduates Students of Ballet School of Teatro Di San Carlo in Napels, on invitation of Director of Ballet School Mr. Stephane Fournial.

Since 2016 is Mr. David Simic in charge of organizing together with RAD Italy Director Ballett Gala of Summer School in Fondo/ Andalo, Italy. Some of greatest world ballet stars came to perform on invitation of Mr. Simic such as: Daniil Simkin, Evgenia Obrazova, Iana Salenko, Marian Walter, Polina Semionova, Dmirty Sobolevskiy, Yonah Acosta only to mention few.

Since September 2016 David Simic is Head of the KINDER BALLETT KOMPANIE BERLIN at the Deutsche Oper Berlin (German Opera House in Berlin). His school and Company is dancing every year one new Production on the big stage of Deutsche Oper Berlin in his Choreography. As well Kinder Ballett Kompanie guesting in different stages in Berlin and Germany with its repertoire.  David Simic directed big ballet productions such as „ Coppelia“, „ Sleeping Beauty“, „ Nutcracker“, “Cinderella”, Peter Pan” only to mention few. David Simic and his Company took a part in international Israeli-German culture Festival and Chines-German Festival.

In April of 2010, Simic established his own ballet production under the name of SIMIC BALLET PRODUCTIONS in Berlin, Germany. In the year of 2011, Simic David made a choreography “Waltz” for ballet Gala of Imperial Ball, organized by SIMIC BALLET PRODUCTIONS in Bangkok, Thailand. David Simic has worked with choreographers such as: John Neumeier, Vladimir Malakhov, Maurice Bejart, David Parsons, Angelin Preljocaj, Mauro Bigonzetti, Heinz Spoerli, Itzik Galili etc.

FRANCESCO MANGIAPANE

Nasce a Firenze nel 1987. Conclusa una prima formazione presso la scuola del Balletto di toscana si perfeziona presso l’Accademia nazionale di danza di Roma, conseguendo la Laurea in Discipline coreutiche (110 Cum Laude) con il progetto di video-danza contemporanea dal titolo – Chroma Key – esposto successivamente presso la galleria d’arte contemporanea, Treespace Gallery (Londra). 

Danza in coreografie di: Ismael Ivo, Alessandro Bigonzetti, Ranko Yokoyama, Joseph Fontano, Michele Pogliani, Enrica Palmieri, ed altri celebri coreografi nel panorama internazionale. Docente di tecnica della danza contemporanea e composizione coreografica dal 2006, collabora con alcune tra le più prestigiose realtà formative italiane ed estere, con le quali riscuote importanti successi a Festival e competizioni presenti sul panorama Europeo. ( Dancer at Work, Kaos BDF, Balletto di Toscana, Accademia Internazionale coreutica, Dance Studio Faenza, Opus Ballet … ) 

Crea inoltre video e cortometraggi per il teatro, tra i più recenti: Le corps de l’actris, Slum – Bassifondi (Maxim Gorkij). Nel 2021 fonda la compagnia di danza contemporanea, Rame dance phylum, per cui crea: Amorìa – Orbruo ( Premio Teatro il Moderno) – Resist them, resist my people (Love is Love – USA ) Mormora (Solo Coreografico ‘21 Tunisia) – De Causis Naturae – Fragments of the woods – I was born flower.
