A FEW WORDS ABOUT CYPRUS
Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Cyprus is at the crossroads of three continents, with sources placing Cyprus in Europe and alternatively Western Asia and the Middle East. The island of Cyprus, in the Mediterranean, is a very popular destination for many reasons: it is an open-air museum, with many archaeological sites, prehistoric settlements, temples of classical Greece, Roman theaters and villas, but also Byzantine churches, monasteries and Muslim mosques. ITA ON TOUR CYPRUS 17 – 18 October 2026
All ITA ON TOUR masterclasses will take place at Lefkosia Youth Ballet studios (Lefkosia Youth Ballet) Vyzantiou 3, Lakatamia 2322, Nicosia, Cyprus.The Ballet masterclasses will be held by two important International Guest Dance Teachers:
- M^Tania Fairbarin – Former Teacher THE ROYAL BALLET SCHOOL – London – ITA ON TOUR Talent Scout – ELITE Professional Dance Training Teacher and Talent Scout –
- M°Simone Donati – Freelance artist in the field of dance and movement research, teacher, international choreographer, composer
The INTERNATIONAL TALENT AWARD training also offers many additional opportunities. During the masterclasses M^Tania Fairbairn and M°Simone Donati will select and recommend talented participants for the following:
1. Notification to send without payment the video for admission to the Ballet and Contemporary Competition as soloist at the 𝕀ℕ𝕋𝔼ℝℕ𝔸𝕋𝕀𝕆ℕ𝔸𝕃 𝕋𝔸𝕃𝔼ℕ𝕋 𝔸𝕎𝔸ℝ𝔻 Final which will be held in Italy – Cattolica from 18 to 21 February, 2027.
2. Admission to the Special Ballet Repertoire Masterclasses with ITA PATRON & AMBASSADOR 2027 Mr JULIO BOCCA Artistic Director of Ballet Estable del Teatro Colón
3. Admission to all 𝑮𝑹𝑨𝑵𝑫 𝑨𝑼𝑫𝑰𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑺 for International Ballet Academies.
4. Admission to special masterclasses with ITA Guest Artists and Artistic Directors of International Ballet Academies.
5. Admission to the special workshop ITA 2027 ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE with choreographer Michele Merola – Artistic Director of MM Contemporary Dance Company. This is a 4-days intensive workshop in Cattolica from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st February 2027 for students from age 15 and over. The participants will perform as a group in the Final ITA GALA 2027 that will take place in Cattolica at Teatro della Regina on Sunday 21st February 2027.

A few words about TANIA FAIRBAIRN
Tania trained at the Arts Educational School, Tring, and the Royal Ballet School’s teacher training program with Valerie Adams. She holds a BPhil (Hons) in Dance and Contextual Studies from Durham University and studied Sports Science with Stonebridge Distance Learning.
Tania danced with the Scottish Ballet, Northern Ballet Theatre, and Alexander Roy’s London Ballet Theatre before moving to London’s West End musicals, where she performed in productions of “The Phantom of the Opera,” “42nd St,” and “On Your Toes.”
An internationally renowned ballet teacher, Tania Fairbairn continues to cultivate her passion for dance pedagogy through her caring and educational approach.
She taught ballet and character dance for many years at the Royal Ballet School and is a teacher training tutor. Tania’s choreographic work has garnered considerable recognition, particularly for her character dances, which have been performed at various venues, including The Royal Opera House, Opera Holland Park, and The Linbury Theatre.
Prior to the Royal Ballet School, Tania taught for 15 years at the Central School of Ballet as Head of the Junior School and choreographed character dances for the dancers in Christopher Gable’s production of Swan Lake for Northern Ballet Theatre. While at the Central School of Ballet, Tania created the “Recovery from Injury” course, working with the school’s physiotherapist on injury prevention and rehabilitation. Tania continued her coaching during her time at the Royal Ballet School.
Tania’s freelance work includes teaching for the British Ballet Organization, the Cecchetti Society, and the Royal Academy of Dance.
At an international level, Tania is a regular guest teacher for the Elite Professional Training course at the Ateneo Danza in Forlì. Tania’s teaching also includes regular visits to AED Danza in Livorno, Talent Scout for ITA ON TOUR, Danza Scuola Ghezzi in Pisa, Casa De Balet in Bucharest and Stage Centro Danza in Palermo.
A few words about SIMONE DONATI
Simone began his studies at the Ateneo Danza in Forli and graduated in 2014 from the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in London, earning a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours.
He subsequently worked with renowned international companies and choreographers, including Balletboyz, Luca Silvestrini’s Protein Dance, Russell Maliphant, Contact Dance Company, Mir Dance Company, and B’cause Dance Company, performing works by Ivan Pérez, Javier De Frutos, Russell Maliphant, Ivgi & Greben, Roy Assaf, Antonin Comestaz, Fabio Liberti, Giuseppe Spota, Maura Morales, Luca Silvestrini, Pontus Lidberg, Liam Scarlett, and others. He has performed in the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Malta, the United States, Ukraine, Canada, South Korea, and Australia.
Simone began choreographing in 2012 at the Rambert School, and some of his creations have been performed at the Lilian Baylis Studio, the Linbury Theatre, and the Cloud Dance Festival in London, at the Teatro Bonci, at the Inteatro Festival of Marche Teatro, and at the Musiktheater Im Revier during the MIR Dance Company’s #EmbraceYourself evening.
Simone is the winner of the Oriente Occidente 2023 artistic residency program. Since the beginning of his career, he has focused on teaching professional and pre-professional dancers, leading classes and workshops that include floorwork, contact, improvisation, release, and in-depth exploration of choreographic research. These are some of the organizations/institutions for which he has taught classes and workshops: Ballet am Rhein Düsseldorf, Mir Dance Company Gelsenkirchen, Rambert School – Trinity Laban – DanceWorks – The Place – Santa Barbara University – Alberta Ballet Calgary – Ateneo Danza summer course – Agora coaching project – Centro ArteMente – Balletboyz company and Balletboyz Dancers course – DanzarTeatro Padova, Luz Siedlce, the Evening Space Malta, YGP Italy, and others.
During his time in London, after obtaining first-level certifications in Sherborne and Handel techniques, Simone participated in and contributed to the development of inclusive dance projects such as “Dance Together,” “Richmond Project,” and “Parkinson’s Can Dance,” helping people with disabilities connect with dance and movement. Simone is the creator and artistic director of Indomita and co-artistic director of Atmo Music Productions.
